wow this is great. i just got to see ABT doing Giselle last week. doing Giselle. it was wonderful.

doesn't even matter.
As a spirit in this act, Giselle is supposed to look etheareal, floating, not quite touching the ground, hence (I believe) the raised shoulders at times.
And incidentally, if you really are so very intelligent, your pathetic attempts at insults wouldn't be such failures.
Get over yourself, don't talk about things you have absolutely not clue about, and learn to appreciate true the truly fantastic beauty and strength that is ballet.

if you actually have the audacity to criticize Natalia Makharova's outstanding performance, then you must be either an embarrassingly ignorant imbecile or so incredible of a dancer that you make Makharova look bad.
Since the latter is so obviously not true, let me educate you. Many of her extensions are shoulder level. And for all of the ones lower than that she maintains such beautiful, stretched line that it

In fact, How important is for some people to notice what, if you get into the magical of the dance, you shouldn´t notice.This just so magical. I DO NOT CARE about her loosing the balance.
