Miss Barbara Mandrell is ONE of the MOST talented performers. She is one of the reasons why so many artists today can do what they do. Not another performer like her.

She and her sisters play all kinds of instruments. I remember on the variety show in the eighties she and one of her sisters would sing a song, racing from one instrument to the next, banjo, fiddle, steel guitar, and they would rattle out the tune like mad. But one sister just stood off to the side and waved a tamborine around--- and me and my sister just laughed and laughed at that one. She waved that tamborine so aimlessly while the other two seemed like prodigies.
