Vereor, great video. How is your GT650R holding up? Just wondering if Hyosung have managed to shake the mechanical issues with their bikes.
-
whats the maximum speed and how fast do they pick up for overtaking because my lil 250 is terrible at overtaking
-
now that must sound good through the M5 tunnel :p (hint, record going through it ;)

what is the top speed of this bike?
enjoyed watching it, mainly because i know the road really well.
if only i had a bike though!
any advice for someone looking at getting their bike L's and their first bike? from what i know the hyosung GT650R is LAMS approved?

@Ranzwick Hey thanks. I'm on my L's and the bike in the vid is a GT650R which is LAMS approved. It's a great bike, sounds nice (with an aftermarket exhaust) and goes quite well, more than enough power to get myself into trouble ;)

@VereorAUS
Apparently the GT650R is LAMS approved because it's been limited to not be faster than a 250, which is the normal LAMS limit?

@Ranzwick It's all to do with the Power to weight ratio. It has to be under 150kw/tonne. The ECU and Throttle has been limited to prevent power exceeding that ratio. I've never ridden the 250 so I don't know how they compare.
One thing to think about, is that the GT650R is a full-size, full weight bike which i prefer to learn on. Alot of 250's are smaller and lighter and you'll have to learn how to handle a larger bike when you get your opens and upgrade.

nice video champ, was weighing up getting this one for the suzuki gsxr600, although on my P's ended up getting the gsxr600 couldnt say no to it, good price and great frikkin bike, however nice bike and vid mate.

Thanks, the gsxr600 is a nice bike. Unfortunately my bike died (ecu failure resulting in filling the rear cylinder with fuel) about a month after this vid, which took it out of action for 3 weeks.
