it doesn't matter though, because the dolphin kick pullout wasn't legalized for breastroke until AFTER Athens.

Kitajima went on to win the 200 breaststroke without the underwater kick. Kitajima then took golds at the 2008 olympics in the 100 and 200 breaststroke with everyone else doing the underwater kick. What did hansen get in the 100 in 2008? 4th. What did he get in the 200? Didn't qualify. Don't get me wrong, I love hansen and I think he is absolutely flawless in the water and i know that he trains incredibly hard. No need to be sour about losing with an even playing field.
