A world-renowned rock climber, alpinist, skydiver and BASE jumper, Andy de Klerk has been climbing for more than 20 years. He has scaled the big walls of the world and numerous peaks around the globe. He speaks about opening routes, of which he has extensive experience.
FEAT (Fascinating Expedition & Adventure Talks) is an evening of time-limited presentations by South African adventurers; each speaker has only seven minutes to tell of a specific aspect of a recent adventure. Speakers at the third edition of FEAT, were Andy de Klerk, Craig Egberink, Gerard Finnemore, Grant Baker, Kim van Kets, Kobus Bresler, Marian Penso, Ross Tucker and Simon Gear. They spoke on the topics of opening climbing routes, endurance horse racing, post-expedition psychology, big-wave surfing, multidiscipline circumnavigation, microadventures, mountain bike expedition, endurance sports science and Earth appreciation.
