The Carlton logo going off at 0:00 was for The Spooks Of Bottle Bay series one as that was the very first series too be broadcast on CITV and that had the blue carlton logo as you can tell at 0:00 but let me tell you the date when this was recorded this was the first wolf it episode too ever be broadcast on a Thursday afternoon so this was recorded one day before bonfire night in 1993 so on Thursday 4 November 1993 that is the very first time this Wolf It programme was broadcast on Childrens ITV

That kid grew up to be Dizzie Rascall. True story.

@ROTSSisalive Well you are quite right but Scratch and Sniff are actaully hyenas.

I do have a brief bit of it that I recorded some months ago, but I'm afraid I've no idea how to transfer it from TV to the computer - which is a shame since it would be great to help each other out. As I said before I think, it's basically the theme heard here, minus the brass elements - just the piano and finger clicking.

What you heard could be a Library track, Do you have a copy u could post so I can hear it? I may be able to point you in the right direction.
-
Ah, that explains a few things! As far as I know Nightscreen are still using the 'stripped down' version, which is why I believed it was a library track (as Nightscreen love to use them).
-
its NOT a library Track! it was made for the show

Does anyone have the faintest idea of what the proper name of the library track used for the opening of 'Wolf It!'? It's being used on ITV Nightscreen at the mo (well, in STV land anyway) and the original track appears to be a stripped down version of what's heard here (ie just the bass and the dissonance-like piano). It's a catch tune anyway... Any help would be appreciated. as for the show itself... I don't remember it!

Awesome, I love old childhood memories coming back to me, Wolf It was brilliant. =)
15 years today and wolf it inspired ministry of mayhem, how? because in 2005 the ministry of mayhem had 2 wolves named scratch and sniff hence their spinoff show scratch n sniffs den of doom which was on CITV just last year and ministry of mayhem was a Saturday Morning show that was on CITV from January 2004-December 2005 for those of you who don't know

Oh man. This really brings back memories. I had completely forgotten about that animated intro. I like how the yellow eyes are similar to the eyes from the Trap Door, and that the big nosed characters are just like the ones from the old Pink Panther cartoons =)
