@ChaozUT You can practice outside edges with both feet on the ice, kind of like a slalom but emphasizing the outside and putting less weight on the inside edge of the other foot.

Is this the most basic intro to outside edge skating or is there some other even easier exercise to prepare for this? Whenever I try this I fail because I feel like I'm going to fall over so don't have the confidence to actually lean outside... :/
