  • @collisdavis Yeah, I'm going to college in the Metro Manila area. I don't really know my way around here though being a Visayan.hehe

Also, you know any shop where I could find records of the songs? Thanks a lot!

  • @jaguarjaguarjaguarja Hi, The name of the composition you asked about is "TGIF" by Butch Silverio. Group performing it is the JR Cobb Jazz Chamber. If you're based in the Philippines, you can purchase the DVD at number of shops which I will not list now. If you live outside of the Philippines, you can mail order the DVD through me, Collis Davis, chdavisjr@pldtdsl.net using PayPal.com. DVD is $16.95 plus $5.00 postage.

  • I'd love to see this! Where can I find a copy of the DVD? The Jazz Age and the Swing Era are the most neglected parts of Philippine history as I've noticed. And I hardly found a Filipino jazz musician from those eras here in the Internet (save for Fred Elizalde who was more popular in the UK and identified closely with his Spanish roots).

Oh, and do you happen to know the song that is played here at the start of thise video?
