Does anyone have a few videos showing a much closer view of the weld bead as it is being laid down, especially with regard to the motion and angles. I am getting ready to do an open "V" 2G in spray transfer using metal core .035, and it would sure be helpful to check out a good quality video, where I can see the puddle as it is being laid down, the arc length, motion, etc. I have passed 3G and 5G using flux cored .045 at myb last job, but that was before thay company laid off so many of us...
if you want to show your welding, use dark glass while taking video so that its clear to the viewers. we can't see the the surface of welding. the only thing we can see is the sparks of the welding...
you seen the root pass this man laid down.... look again shit talking ass bitches... looks absolutely flawless... people always saying i did this with co2 and i did this with this and that shut the fuck up... do what you do and this man will do what he does.. make your own youtube video than... i think the pass looks awesome.. good weld pinoytelebisyon........
Using pure CO2? I usually use argon/CO2 mixes for root passes, since pure CO2 causes excess weld fluidity, in my personal experience. Also the range of low-spatter short circuit transfer is very limited. I assume this is why you selected 0.8 mm wire, to reduce the amperage required for low-spatter SCT and control the weld fluidity. Using 85Ar+15CO2 while it is more expensive, would allow the use of lower cost 1.1 or 1.4 mm wire, Also deposition rate could be increased due to reduced fluidity.
