Polarshipping (Jounouchi x Mai)

Yes, after a long hiatus, I'm finally posting again. ^_^;; Sorry for the long wait. Unfortunately, I haven't been working on the Dub vs. Originals because I really would like to do the next one with a microphone instead of slides with words. So, in the meantime, you get polarshipping!
Yes, polarshipping, the greatest, most wonderful pairing in all of Yugioh. (Don't argue; just shut up and pretend you agree.) Part of it was I was too lazy to make AMVs to whole songs, part of it was that I didn't have ideas for whole songs.

Part of the reason I uploaded today was for Jou's birthday! It's either the 1st or the 25th, so I posted in the middle.

Song titles and artists are in the video.

First Time: This one actually turned out really nicely when I saved it as a movie file. Any glitches, I blame youtube. From Mai's POV.
Everything: This one saved pretty well, too. From Jou's POV.
Love Heals: I kind of threw this together at the last minute, and yes, I know there's a hangnail. When I took it out, the audio for the last two songs just up and died. No audio vs. one teeny hangnail.... I'll take the hangnail. Mai's POV. In fact, the only one that's not the right gender is First Time, and that's only because I couldn't find the clip I wanted for Jou.
One Love: I only wanted that one line, but I wanted the intro and the end of the song too, so I cut together the beginning verse and the end verse. That wouldn't be worth mentioning except that I did it on Windows Movie Maker. Which is not meant for editing audio, let me tell you. Third person POV.

Can you tell that I really love the beach scene from episode 119?


Made on Windows Movie Maker. Don't make movies on WMM if you can help it. It can be very frustrating.

Hmm. I'm going to critique from a professional (Well, sort of) editor.

That was very well made, Doc. Except, I think you should've flowed the songs together and edited them together. That's what I would've done anyway.

But yeah, great work! Happy face.

Yeah, you're right. ^_^;; But I made them all in separate files, because they were all originally going to be separate AMVs. Then I thought I'd make an AMV Hell, only with songs, and I was too lazy to get more songs together for that. So it turned into this. ^_^;;

Why exactly is Joey x Mai called "polarshipping?" I know about "shipping", but I'm not sure why it's called "polarshipping".

Actually, I completely understand. Why would they go out? She's 24; he's 16. He's poor and lives with his drunk dad. She's a dealer on cruise ships and gets hit on by movie stars. That's why it's "polar". Fics where they date are hard to pull off... oh geez, I'm rambling... ^_^;; I could go on for ages about Mai and Jou.
