NeoToonami Promo Test

A test promo for NeoToonami to see how the monotone robotic voice from FL Studio 9 sounds and to see how I'm doing in terms of editing. Not my best work but then again, I didn't meant for the video to be all fast-paced and action packed. That and this was suppose to be a simple test to see how the voice worked.

As you can see, I tried to combine footage of different series. Some being familiar (Gundam Wing, Gatchaman [under the name G-Force], Outlaw Star), others new (Gurren Lagann), and others being old school (Votoms).

Well there's kinda two things about that.

1) I am unable to get a voice actor/actress to work on this promo test so I would have to use a vocaloid software instead. However, I am unable to purchase one due to being dirt poor (then again, I could just use AT&T's text-to-speech thing).

2) It's a stylistic choice that I made. I was inspired by the early [AS] Action promos that had a similar robotic voice. I thought it would add to the sci-fi/old school aspect of this promo.

But yeah, don't worry about this promo actually being used or something since it's only a test and it didn't really get much interest on the forums.

change up the robotic voice into something more high tech because it feels like it needs improvement.

What do you mean by "more high tech"; like, as in have the voice sound more natural or organic?

It could use a little work. Maybe a few more "snatches" of dialogue from different shows, rather than just video.

another question in your opinion, once you get this promo good and running will the show neotoonami be a success or will this be an online streaming? many people are saying that the whole project may fail but there is still hope that it can turn out successful.
