My grandparents also speak Teochew but they never spoke it to my family -since my bro and I speak Khmer only :( My cousins' family who live with my grandparents can speak Teochew too.

your teochew is easy to understand! i've listened to some teochew broadcasts from hk and the accents are a bit difficult. anyway, this video is 3 years old but i hope your appendicitis (i think) cleared up well :)
