This video is a response to a question about the so-called "country third" on the piano - the use of the major ninth as a resolver on to the major third which is so very common in country music (and, indeed, in rock and folk piano).

It's a technique that works very well over major chords, but can sound a bit unusual over some minors. The solution, in many cases, is to move the position of the lick upwards by a minor third, so it's played on the related major of the minor chord.
