John´s rhythm acoustic guitar part for his song I´m a Loser, from the Beatles for Sale album. Played with an Epiphone EJ-160E.

  • Nice cover! I'd turn down the music next time so we can hear you playing a little though. No worries! Also, I play the song as an AM to a D in the beginning, I notice you picking it though, how'd you come up with that? That's a good change from what I've seen though. Excellent cover!

  • @MrHurrikanable Thanks for your kind comment!!! For the picking, it´s exactly what John does in the original record... take a close listen at the left channel of the stereo version and you´ll be able to notice it in the background, behind the voices

  • Damn, i thought this was Beck

  • @Matsudaissmex Fortunately it´s not!

  • you have the beatles complete stores ? because in that book says the Fdminor

  • @MarcelBeatles I have the book but I don´t take it as my sole reference... I believe my rendition of the song in this video is more accurate to the original as the one transcribed in the book

  • I'm curious, what strings and gauge are you using on your ej160?

  • I love the F9

  • good guitar lennon play this song with a gibson j160E not a epiphone

  • es una magnifica guitarra

  • Could you please, please tell me where you learned to play this one? I'm just a beginner, so if you could help me, i would really appreaciate it.

  • How does the guitar feel to play?

  • Lesson

  • @mtorres767 Oh, come to think of it, the more I listen to it, it does sound like it. Haha, I've been just a strum of A7 and D in the intro, also in the verses, doing a G - D - F - G again strumming pattern. I'll have to try what I see you doing!
