Sorry i did not realize how low the volume was.
So ill just audioswap it
(ALSO if you could help me out watch my other video, its terrible quality but i need help on how to "tame/handle" him, thanks)
This is my Custom Iguana cage, My baby iguana is about 3 months old i think. I got him from my local pet store about 2 weeks ago. (the age is a guess though looking at the size from other peoples). The Cage is made from 2x2 lumber 4' high 3' wide and 2' long. There is a top shelf that is about 95 degree, and the bottom shelf that is about 85. i plan to add more "plants" and such to the cage but ive already spent over 300$ for him sooooo, im broke. I keep a damp cloth on top of the cage to help keep the humidity (I also spray the cage 3-4 times every day)

We cut the wood four 4' 2x2's four 3' 2x2's and six 2' 2x2's. (the other two were for the shelves) we made the frame using wood glue. We screwed in 3" screws to every intersection. Then we polyurithaned the frame to "waterproof" it. We let it dry outside, then the next day we attached the chicken wire to all sides with a staple gun. with our left over wood we made the door using some of the left over wood attaching it with hendges and locks.

if you have any questions or tips for my new iguana "raising" comment bellowwwwww

thanks :D

  • How do you put the shelving in the cage? i want to make me one but i dont wanna mess it up lol, I want to make me a cage that has shelving that can support an almost full grown Green Iguana. Please pm me if you know how or if you know a how to video showing this.

  • @lizzar615 What I did was, screwed in a piece of lumber horizantally to the vertical pieces,

at 0:22 you can see on the right side of the cage, theres a piece of wood across the vertical pieces, and then get a flat piece of wood, thick enough for screws to go through, and screw it through the piece of wood that is horizantal. and do that with both sides.

I hope that made sense. It's kinda hard to word i guess. :p

reply if you need me to try and explain again, ahha.

  • Also a mesh cage is a very poor option there is no way you will be able to get high enough humidity. You will need to get a humidifier.

  • @toad773 As it says in the giant yellow box at the beginning, i have a fog machine hooked up now that keeps humidity in there. i do also have a humidifier on the ground.
