  • He doesn't just want his horn to speak, he wants it to dance as well.

Very beautiful piece, I think I'm going to try to learn it on trombone myself, just for fun :)

  • Who cares if Dave Taylor can't keep still?! You're not going to hear a bass trombone played better than that EVER. If he was dressed like a leprechaun, you'd probably still complain about it!!! It's music folks, LISTEN TO IT!!!!!!

  • This is really good, but I would love to hear the old LA symphony guys do this. Ralph Sauer, Alan Raph etc. Ralph would play about as perfect on something like this as you'd ever get.

  • Splendido!

  • Oh my God! I need to hide the video and just listen to this beautiful sound. Great musicians! However, I'm so disturbed by the bass trompone player that it removes ALL the pleasure. It's really annoying!! There is NO excuse to be so disagreable to look at even if you're that good. It's just a bad habit, easy to correct, and it's so unnecessary to do this kind of moves to achieve a good sound. On the contrary. It sends the energy all over the place instead of going in the sound.

  • I personally don't like this recording so much, I think for a trombone quartet it could have sounded better

  • Which arrangement is this?

  • absolutely beautiful.directed from the bass trombone.

  • i would in fact complain about the leprechaun outfit.

  • Never thought a trombone could ever sound so nice and calm =]

  • Dave IS one of the best that has EVER played the bass bone! He should be spoken about with the same respect as George Roberts, Mr. Bass Trombone!

He is not just a musician, he is a musical artist! The Bass Bone is a beautiful instrument, and he is the upper crust of the best of the best.

  • that bass bone player is amazing!! this video is amazing!!
