Oh man, that's freaking amazing. 106 years!? or 111 since it's 2011 now. She's been through so much change in the world and witnessed so much. Wow, what a life she lived, and imagine if she isn't a racist or anything and got to see so many different people prejudiced and discrimminated against but remained optimistic through it all. Phew! I'm blown away.

She is good. She is now 107. I am her great grand daughter. I hope to go visit her next month.

I am saddened to report that my grandmother passed away on January 29, 2008 at 107 plus. She was born in the 19th century, lived through the entire 20th and into the 21st. We will miss her but she left an amazing legacy of how to live a good life.
