Christina Aguilera to be a mom

Hello, I'm Rebecca Field with a UPI entertainment update on this Thursday, July 5, 2007.

Grammy winning singer Christina Aguilera is going to be a mom. The singer and her husband Jordan Bratman are reportedly expecting their first baby. The couple married in Napa, California in November 2005. The expectant mother began her concert tour on Tuesday in Hong Kong and will end in New Zealand on August 3.

Hot dog history was made at yesterday's annual hot dog eating contest. 23 year old Joey Chestnut, from California, beat six time Japanese champ Takeru Kobayashi for the title. Chestnut ate a record breaking 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes. Kobayashi followed closely behind with 63 dogs.

Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville is filing for divorce. Legal papers say he's citing irreconcilable differences with his wife Melanie Lynn Clapp. He's also reportedly seeking joint custody of their 11 year old daughter Madison. The two have been married 12 years but separated in July 2006.

Actress and singer Miley Cyrus' new double album is flying off the shelves. Her new release "Hanna Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus" is number one on the billboard 200 chart this week. The two disc set is split between songs from Cyrus' TV show "Hannah Montana" and her debut studio album. Kelly Clarkson's song "My December" is at number 2.

Paris Hilton is now becoming an advocate against drunk driving. On her Myspace page, she warned fans not to drink and drive on the fourth of July. The hotel heiress just got back from a Hawaiian getaway following her 23 day jail sentence. She was serving time for violating probation in an alcohol related driving charge.
