A grooming problem. An exciting evening watching a German crime film. An awkward exploration of male intimacy.

  • dont care..if you know him you can "man hug" him...if you dont then ... dont. shouldnt be awkward...hes a human like you are of the same gender...why are men "scared" of hugging men and women just hug women?

  • I am from Calw but I haven't watched Tatort Calw yet. Heard the first two were the best. Mania-Pictures also recently made a movie called Village People. I should definately check out these movies.

By the way, I've been in Perth visiting a friend in 2004 and explored Perth city, Mosman Park and of course Freo ... and a bit into the country to Narrogin, hehe.

Man hugs ... never ... feel weird about it. Even if it is from a woman (except my girlfriend or Mum).In Hungary they do it very often

  • Oh. The hug question. Good one. I fear this country is still sloooooooowly developing towards the hugging. I hug with friends, good friends, and I do hug colleagues, if I know them a bit, but I wouldn't really hug someone I just met. On the other hand, in Spain (I just came back from Spain) people even kiss total strangers on the cheek. Colour me surprised.

  • "tatort calw" rockz! I am from calw (germany)! how crazy. but I´ve never been to perth...but at least to sydney and melbourne.

  • I had to do this in two bites (too many characters)

I come from a non touching family (English you know) but when I left home I became a very touchy person. Now everyone who knows me expects a hug, it's quite natural for me now. Occasionally you'll meet someone who feels a little awkward but you learn to break away a little quicker and give them a little slap or something and it's okay. Just be yourself.

  • Great that you're German is coming on, (I don't know any), but it must be a great help living in the country and hearing it all the time. Regards the hugging, you have to do what you feel comfortable doing.
