  • without being too syrupy i first heard this on annie nightingale on a sunday night when i should have been getting an early night for school. so glad i didn't. the blue nile are the most stunning british band i have ever heard. this album was voted i think no 2 in the scotsman's best albums of the 20th century. buchananan transcends all borders with the most sublime talent. how the hell we were all banging about duran & spandau when these guys were about i will never know. best song ever imho
