The energy consumed from the radio source is greater than the energy given off by the salt water. Salt water conducts electricity and it is basically acting like an antenna, energy is simply absorbed from the radio source. A good analogy would be placing water in a microwave and running a small engine from the thermal energy of the heated wafer. Still cool, but the video title is sensational and misleading in order to generate views. He is simply transmitting power.

@buggys121 You don't need radio waves. DC electricity applied to 2 electrodes will pass a current which separates oxygen and hydrogen & will they fizz off at the electrodes, oxygen at one & at the other.Pure water won't work. Needs some salt. Just collect the bubbles BUT keep them well apart.

The newly divorced gases are just busting their britches to get together again and given the slightest chance, will get remarried with a celebratory BANG!

You can't get out more than you PUT IN in any system.

Empirically, it has been found you can't even get out AS MUCH as you put in. Light, Heat, Noise, Friction are all various forms of losses.

The energy req. to split 'em up is greater than obtained by burning the Hydrogen.

There would be none left to do any other work, after the RF generator and losses were take into account! The demo used an external energy for the 'splitting device'.
