As announced Russian Fleet heading to Venezuela

An squadron of the Russian north fleet including Peter he Great is begining today a long journey to Venezuela in order to make some military exercises with the Venezuelan Navy. The fleet is already on its way.

The Naval air power of Russia. In this video we can see different sequences from past present days of the Air Power of the Russian Navy. There's footage from the KA-32 naval helicopter, the Yak 38 jump jet. Also we can see the modern Su-33 naval jet and the Su-25 operating from the Admiral Kutznesov air carrier.

Russian warships head across Atlantic
For the first time in modern history, a Russian naval squadron is making its way towards Latin America. The nuclear-powered cruiser 'Peter the Great', an anti-submarine ship and two support vessels will sail from the Arctic to the Caribbean to take part in joint manoeuvres with Venezuela.

After covering 15,000 nautical miles, in November the ships will perform several combat training tasks, including missile and artillery exercises. The exercises will give the ships an opportunity to showcase their advanced weaponry, and test out the new technology in a realistic setting.

The Russian Navy says the drill is long planned and has no political overtones.

Throughout the entire two-month mission, the 'Peter the Great' will not enter a single harbour. Its the only warship in the world capable of going without docking for this length of time.

"The Russian fleet is now extending its activity. We are not going to demonstrate any aggressive intentions. The fleet has always been and always will be a deterrent," said Igor Dygalo, a Navy spokesman.

The Caribbean voyage comes just days after two Russian bombers visited Venezuela for training flights.

  • what the hell.. why is the canopy open at 0:32?

  • Russian's going to Allow Venezula to remain free from America! It's ok if they don't want worthless dollars for oil! About time someone stopped America from attacking those that no longer want the dollar. To bad they didn't sav Lybia from us!

  • @PrometheusHR you have such a stupid mentality

  • @6308281 outdated ? "most advanced and deadliest" ?! damn you have no idea of the capabilities of the vessels you're mentioning... and no they have carriers.. do a study on russian vessels and check out the numbers they had before the collapse... now they have only 1 in operation, they've sold all the others - because they dont need carriers... they dont attack countries countries on the other end of the world for DEMOCRACY and FREEDOM haha

the ONE carrier can sink an entire fleet - it's armed!

  • @Cnupoc Hmm you mean Russian carrier not carriers - they only have one outdated Carrier - About the Tugboat there was a story about how the one carrier went to sea and had to be towed back to port - It's no secret where they are thats why there are twelve all over the world - imagine twelve of the most advanced and deadliest carriers in the world today. - Don't forget now Carrier not Carriers

  • @6308281 haahahah tugboats to drag a carrier across the atlantic huh ? haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhaahhahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

  • @6308281 are you an idiot or something ? what stops the russian carriers from doing their job if a tugboat is following them ? that tugboat can be blown to pieces if war escalates -> the russian carriers are armed to the teeth compared to US carriers... you think the russians dont know where the US carriers are ? are you in WW1 era or something ? you think they need tugboats to follow you ? ahhaahah

  • @RuslanMasinjila Служу Отечеству!

  • @PrometheusHR you first damn American understud the russian futur !
