Friday 10/28/11 at the Cream Coffee Shop in downtown Owensboro, KY: "Sweet Home Chicago," features Jim Beckner (vocals & rhythm), Leland Isbill (cross harp), & Alex Jolly (lead guitar). Note: Leland Isbill, a.k.a. "Hammer Jammer," is 13 and has Down syndrome. He has been playing the harmonica since the age of 3. He especially loves the blues. Special thanks to all his special mentors and friends: Jim Beckner, Leland Herzog, Cody Crabtree, Andy Brasher and last but not least - all the great folks from the Bean Blossom Blues Fest and Cabin 12!!!
I finally did it! I did it! I did it! Here's video of Leland playing w/ Jim at the Cream. More videos to come now that I know how! Look out!

A little spelling correction. One of his mentors is Andy Brasher. You can view his solo work at Andy Brasher and his duo performances at Brasher / Bogue with his friend Dustin Bogue. Check them out. Brasher / Bogue just finished touring the Hard Rock Cafes in the country as part of the Kenny Chesney Summer Tour.
