I LOVE Genie Francis in these scenes. Laura is painted as a wilting violet sometimes. But boy, don't cross her! I love her as the "woman scorned"... she doesn't let him get away with his lies and bull****. Kudos to Genie! Anthony Geary is great too, but I must admit, Genie was always the part of Luke and Laura that was my favorite.

Thank you, Genie, for not ruining your face with some gawdawful plastic surgery. You have truly grown as an actress...I only wish GH would treat you with the respect you deserve for having created one of the greatest television characters of all time.

I totally agree....Tony and Genie are magic together, even now....doesn't matter how long they've been apart, they always shine whenever they're in scenes together--they were made to be together

Even now they are magic together. Tony G shines in every scene with Laura even after all these years. He is so tender with her and she is such a great actress. GH has lost out with the ruining of their love.

I am wondering why my other comment was removed, but you could be right. General Hospital is a dying soap opera anyway, just like Days of Our Lives. Not much can bring it back at this point, even if Genie does return full time. Millions of Luke & Laura fans stopped watching when Laura had her breakdown in 2002. In seven years, the internet has dominated our TV time. Hardly anybody wants to see Sonny and Jason these days.

There are zero new stories that say Genie asked for alot of money to return. In fact she's gone on public record to say she WANTS to return full time, and that money is NOT the issue. It's the idiots in charge over at GH who don't want Laura back full time.
