Yes, I know the vid is cheesy. Was originally doing this vid to make fun of "Goss's Garage" on MotorWeek. But after the first scene, I thought I could really help people with seafoaming

Yes, I know I should have used a funnel to pour the seafoam into the crank case, I just didn't have one available at the moment. And I was trying to get this done before it got darker.

And yes, I know there is a screw driver holding the gas tank lid open. I was parked on an incline and it kept closing.

  • According to Seafoam's site, you do NOT have to change your oil after treatment, even if you put it in the booster line.

  • @LondosHair It's not putting it in the booster line that makes you have to change your oil, it's putting it in the crankcase.

  • Ay I got a question...does the seafoam fucks up ur o2 sensors ? Cuz I'm planning .on doing this to my Cadillac cts 3.2

  • @friskifrisco1 If it's a really old car that's never been treated before, then probably. Your CTS should be fine.

  • @peevman76 Appreciate it man.

Yeah, at first it started to stutter pretty hard and almost stalled on me but after it got past that part then it started sucking it up pretty quick. If the engine does stall when sucking it up that's completely fine just stop pouring more unless you didn't suck in as much before the stall. As for loosening the tip I used a very thin flat head screwdriver to pry it off and that seemed to do the trick.

  • By the far one of the best videos I have seen of this procedure. Also helps as i have the exact same model car as you! Just a quick question, When you ran it into ure pcv, looks like it sucked it in pretty quick. Was the car stalling at all during that? I couldnt hear it. And also,,,,,,do you or anyone have some good tips to loosen up the rubber tube on the pcv? I just kinda messed with it the other day,,,and its stuck pretty good.

  • LOL,Cool

  • @friskifrisco1 it can temporarily throw on the 'check engine' light because of o2 sensors, but those codes are normal and they should go away in 10 minutes of driving

it shouldn't hurt anything as long as you change the oil soon after

  • I've had my 3.0cl since it was born...well, 2nd hand with 25K on it in 1997. I baby her. Does seaform clean the intake valve, crank case and fuel tank and lines? Just wondering what seaform is for...

  • Ur usually suppose to put a full can in half a tank of gas
