TGV Duplex Marbelup Valley Railway

A Mehano TGV Duplex running at scale 300 km/h on my model railway. The top speed measured was 318 km/h, based on the 1/87 ratio for the HO model.

As with the prototype TGV speed trials, I had to make some alterations including boosting the DCC track voltage (to 21.5 V) and trialling different DCC decoders to see which gave the highest top speed. The minimum curve radius on the layout is 700 mm but the train stayed on the track at full speed.
