Pen Names And Self Publishers - Self Publishing 2.0

I'm starting a self-publishing business and found this very helpful. Thanks for the advice!

But I think if I wrote about my own experiences of being a battered wife, alcoholic, junkie, murderer or something, I would prefer to remain anonymous, because people judge you by these things.

I am a self publisher and I write under my own name.

I'm sort of using a pen name here on YouTube. But now I love the name Freedom and and considering using the name for publishing.

But will I loose my buyers. Those being my established myspace and facebook etc. friends that know me by my real name? And also people from my past, etc.

I have a couple of weeks to decide.
