Good video quality please show the viewers more picture taking with your camcorder. I would like to buy one because of the beautiful color it have but I'm not sure with the 4MP picture you said it takes please.

@ColinV03 The camera is fantastic for short films and when/if you step up to something bigger or better it will make a nice behind the scenes camera. I use it when I want to shoot something with quick turn around. Not the easiest handheld camera to shoot on, but like he says, the mic is fine for close up shots and it allows for an external mic. I can edit in Adobe Premiere right off of the cards, so you can shoot, edit and post all in one day.

How compatible is it with your Mac? Are the videos easily imported into iMovie? I understand this doesn't use AVCHD and that the files are MP4/H.264 so I imagine they should come right into it.
I'm currently using a Canon FS10 but I'm not crazy about the picture quality. It's not as sharp as I'd like when editing in iMovie and I'm considering the HD1010.
Thanks for any input.

Well the camera is detected by imovie and lets me import the videos right away, rendering a 10 minutes vid is about 1 hour
