IMPORTANT: Go to http://www.jacksonfosterlaw.com and click on "Toyota Gel Litigation" (upper right corner of home page) to fill out a Toyota owner questionnaire. Documention is essential. Toyota has claimed that only 3,200 owners have complained about the problem, but the online Toyota owner petition already has 3,000+ signatories. The NHTSA database sits and collects dust as it says this engine problem is not safety-related. Let it know if the engine failure compromised the safety of you or your family! Some failures have occurred on major highways!

In light of the current spotlight on Toyota regarding the deadly sudden unintended acceleration, the public needs to know about the organized "Toyota Owners Unite for Resolution" online group. These owners tried to go through the normal complaint channels to no avail. Toyota knows this. The owners have been blamed for this serious engine malady. Toyota continues to stonewall Toyota owners when engine sludge appears. This is unconscionable!

The TOUR group wonders if the same treatment may have been given to the SUA group. What can the victims of SUA (Sudden Unintended Acceleration) add in reflecting on Toyota's actions? Have they, too, been stonewalled for years about this problem? Is there more information that needs to come from these Toyota owners? If so, when will their stories be told in the public forum?

Are there other problems, such as the Sienna "sticking" sliding doors, the ABS brake failures in light snow or rain conditions, the drifting/pulling steering, the premature tire wear, the transmission failures, etc., that have brought Toyota owners together online? Have Toyota proponents minimized the situation or personally attacked the messenger online?

What has been the NHTSA reaction? Has it been proactive and investigated fully all safety-related complaints? Or, has it dragged its feet along with Toyota in responding to potentially deadly situations? Does the public just assume that everything possible is being done as promptly as possible? Or, has it finally realized that too often it is the automaker that gets the best treatment from the NHTSA while the vehicle owner gets let down AND footing the bill on several levels?

When will the auto consumers (consumers in general) get the protection they need? Will the current administration strengthen the consumer protection laws and give the consumer agencies the support that they need to adequately be our "watchdogs?" Why is it that right now the consumer must be forced to take matters into his/her own hands in order to seek justice? This is not right!

As usual with Toyota, old and new, always with problems... sorry for Toyota.

  • Want to find the truth? Go to uc2.blogspot.com to find it. Deceit, defamation, and cover up are synonymous with Toyota...it just took the public awhile to find out. Surely there is more to come. Stay-tuned! Apparently, Toyota has allies in its effort to perpetuate the myth of quality and CENSOR anyone who is brave enough to actually cite the real world facts about defective Toyota vehicles. Isn't it time that Toyota own up to the inherent issues in its vehicles and stop the LYING?

  • Back in 2004, oil experts, veteran mechanics, and Toyota owners were discussing the premature break down of the engine oil in Toyotas on two major Toyota complaint sites (one site had over 10,000 postings). Then, one of the sites was HACKED and went down. The other site went down at roughly the same time, too! Interesting!!
