So why is everything dubstep to you kids now? Good song but not all electronic music that isn't oontz oontz should be classified as dubstep. It's kind of an insult to the maker.

@Amphetamine407 Well, Architect is most simply classified under IDM, but his music has influences from other styles. I don't think you need to put any style in there especially if it's a miss like this one.

Dubstep isn't all about bass and wub wub, but this track doesn't have drum patterns like a dubstep track either.. it's not dubstep.

it's glitchy, noisy industrial breakbeat of some sort. it lacks the characteristic 'wub-wub' synth bass to be classified as dubstep. anyway daniel myer is a pioneer, and wouldn't stoop to making yet another derivative dubstep track.

Reminds me of some Autechre tracks. If I could classify it I would call it isolationist techno with elements of breakbeats.
