Third Day of the 9-day Campaigning. Second Rally of WP.
Note：1) As space is limited. The rally and subsequent rally held here should be for voters of Aljunied GRC. I'm not the voter there, so I chose to go out of the stadium before the crucial speeches delivered by the big guns so as to create space for letting the true blue voters of Aljunied GRC there to go in. Oh! may be I think too much. I notice majority of spectators from elsewhere of Singapore. WP! beware of it, don't be complacent as the current government. The attendance may or may not tranfer to vote cast in the polling day. And most importantly, don't let your voters have the false sense of having upper hands!!! By having said this, don't mistaken, I'm just a critical Pro-SG non-partisan Singapore Citizen. Aljunied voters, where are you? Everyone knows that putting all egg into one basket is very risky and why WP has to do it this way? Why? Why? Why? Aljunied voters (incl. even U are PAP supporters or even members), every vote matters for the REAL Checks and Balance in the parliament!!!

Basically I have no problem with the minister pay.

BUT Highly paid job .. huge responsibility .. high accountability .. zero-mistake .. superman capability .. major mistake made out they go (apology not accepted) .. minor mistake made 50% to 70% pay cut for the rest of the term or demote or no bonus that year..

But Singapore is so unique.

To keep food cost down, govt should have more hawker center. Disallowed subletting. Let the low and middle income have a livelihood by getting the stall with cheap rent instead of bidding.. If everything is food court and big operator, what choice is left for Singaporean but to pay and pay?

The respective ministry only can work with simple solution. Your solution is quite complicated, hahaha. The minister simply couldn't cope with COMPLEX MODEL and co-work with other ministry to get things done. And the capable civil servants work under them has to formulate policy / measures to suit "their taste", day after day, "groupthink" inevitably.

@baomare90 I agree with you on this. However, PAP must now realise they need to change. It is not just prosperity alone but the moral of the nation is the indispensible fabric of a sound economy. The ingratitude of the people is not just happening here but it is global. We need badly to be more civic mindedness before worse things fall upon our nation. If PAP listens now, I will vote for them.

@mysaviour: PAP for sure didn't fail the country. But they fail miserably in managing the people to be grateful. That's the crux of the issue: They fail to listen and fail to communicate cos they are so high up there disconnected with the ground.

How I wish every election is a no-brainer where i can just walk in on polling day without even the need to think if i have made the right decision to vote for the ruling party.
