Jaqyl's spider trap (dissected)

Jaqyl has a great spider trap, which also works for other beasts and monsters, if placed correctly. It's a complex structure and a bit challenging to construct, so I've created this "fly-by" to assist others in building one. Jaqyl's video can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvRF5yr8I9M and I recommend that you view that one for an overview.

This structure was built on-site under a spawner and was a bit challenging. If you build from the top down, you can't get the lower wash and if you build from the bottom up, you have to be careful to not trap yourself in the process.

I hope that this different perspective will provide an easier build for others.

13 minutes long and that's with a lot of parts cut out, some sped up. It's filled with notations to make block placement easier, I hope.

Except for the water exit collection portion, it's identical to the one shown here.

Thanks for posting this. I had a hell of a time tying to get a good level of detail from Jagyl's tutorial video. This made is very easy to build my own. Cheers!
