Its amazing how even though the 3d was comcerically a pile of shit that, there are enough games to make me still own one. I mean they're like 5 jrpgs. Thats enough for me. Any system with 5 good games on it is worth owning.

I could have sworn I played something similar to this a while back on a different consule. I could be wrong but anywho you have a great video game closet by any chance you wouldn't happen to have a extra FZ-1 for sale would you?

Given that all the dialogue is apparently vocal, the only other thing to translate would be the rest of the menus (which I am having trouble finding out where the text is stored). It wouldn't be playable on the real system (thanks to the encryption..) but hey it's a fun thing to think about.

This is indeed one of the great 3DO titles, sadly it was never translated :( I've been going through the contents of the ISO and it seems that all the audio (including voices) is in AIFC format. Unfortunately, it's different enough to not be directly playable in anything I have. A friend and I were thinking about it and while it might take a while to translate, it would be possible to create new clips for all this voice acting so people could understand what's going on and replace them.

This is probably one of the best looking 3DO games I've seen. I like how you can walk pretty much anywhere in the environment. Even many PS2 RPGs don't let you do that!
-
right now I'm trying to get out of the 1-st town in the game) I had discovered something in the game, for example what are the targets to complete the 1-st quest). And i'm writing walkthrough for it. When (if ?) i'll complete it, i'll translate it on English for you and all the international community))

i can tell i would be annoyd with this rpg just because i couldn't see my damage given or taken in real time, or how much i heal myself for.
-
One of the better looking 3DO i would say, easly mistakeable for a Playstation first generation title.

Yeah, but it was "kicked" ass back when i was a kid though. But when I play it now, it "sucks" ass lol.
I wonder if these are the same people who made guardian war.

No it was a different company. Sala International made this and Dragon Tycoon Edge, both of which are Japan only releases.
Guardian War (aka Power Kingdoms) was made by the same people who made Luciennes Quest namely: Micro Cabin.
All the best!

thanks for answering that question! I loved guardian war since i was a kid. Me and my mom played it all of the time :D. It had such a short life-span though.

I played through Guardian War very recently, it's very under-rated.

It's this kind of valuable comment that makes contributing to the web so worth while. All i hope is that all your children grow-up to be crack-hores.
