Raaj FM proudly presents... The Summer Mela 2011!

Sunday 3rd July 2011

Raaj FM is organising the Cultural Celebrations in Victoria Park. This event is free to all members of the community and will include cultural activities, a funfair, children activities, arts and crafts exhibitions, live entertainment, food stalls and bazaar stalls.

There will also be a Live Music Performance Stage which will be the focal point of the event, where artist from all different backgrounds and cultures will perform in the centre of the park on a big dome stage.

As far as the DJ controversy goes Ifeel Garry was only aiming it at the wannabe DJs the ones who have no talent, and take work away from talented Djs, My DJ friends like the song and are pleased som1 as talented as Garry is letting ppl know that we shud separate the two, from professional DJs and glassy peekeh, wannabe, talentless jump on the bandwagon DJs. Its about professional & non proffesional DJs CASE CLOSED!

All I have 2 say is Garry hasn't even been around 1 year, and he's songs are no1, I've heard him live without music, it's mind-blowing how good he's vocal range is, I'n time I'm sure he will sing with a band, and still do pa, Hes the fastest climbing artist that I've seen that's done so much I'n about 7 months, we need 2 give him time and support as 4 new artists go, JK, Garry, sandhu nirmal Siddu, Angrez ALi, are ripping it apart, not 4getting Garry writes he's own stuff, as far as this DJ c

@smint80 I agree and I understand what you mean....Cheemaji and Sidhu are legends...the experience and talent that they've got is no where at par with the new artists now days...they still need time....but what Garry's offering his fans and audience is so original and new..its refreshing to hear songs which aren't based on women, clubs, drinking, sharab diyan botalan, or love...The DJ topic is so new...i think we should be supporting him for doing something new in the industry :)

H Dhami can't sing, with jaz he's worked really hard and fair play to him he's showing how it should be done you got to respect him for trying, but there is a difference between singing a few lines live and singing a whole track with a live band which jaz can and has done. He's not great but at least he's trying. I know so many people that can do what Garry and others are doing. Did you hear nirmal sidhu perform? Cheema? that's talent. Why do you think all these UK artist come and go every year

@smint80 I understand what you're saying...and that's exactly what garrys doing!!...he sings live!! I mean cmon do H Dhami or Jaz Dhami sound this good live??...yes Garry is singing with a cd..but in the beginning the live singing is what is the real talent...Garrys got amazing live vocals

Mate his track might have got to no1 but he ain't no artist. An artist is someone who can sing LIVE with a band and not just dance and move their mouth to a cd. If you think that's what an artist is then I guess we know why the industry is were it is. People need to wake up and see anyone can go into a studio and make a club hit. Real artists and real talent is only seen on stage with a live band. Respect for the UK based artists who tried to sing with a live band, at least they trying.
