My younger brother saw this type many times when he was stationed in Goose Bay Labrador back in the '70s. I have several snapshots which he took with old Kodak camera. Many thanks for your capturing this last flight.

First saw a C-133 while Stationed at Incirlik Turkey in 66' Incirlik my first assignment out of Tect School. Was assigned to Base Flight C-118's, Det 192. One day a C-133 was coming in & I first thought it was just a C-130, but as I watched it land it got bigger& bigger, wow. I had to go look at it, I couldn't believe how big this acft was outside/inside. Later in the 70 - 72 at Travis I became one of the flying Crew Chiefs. Logged 300 hrs. retired them & went to the C-5A, C/C on 66-002 .

I was qualified on the C-130 and 133.in the 60's the 130 is a great airplane but you can't beat the sound of the 133. To bad politics over ruled.

As a engine mechanic on "Ole Shaky" (C-124) in 1957-60 Hickam AFB, I remember the C-133's on the flight line, that's when I realized, the "prop jockeys" like me were on their way out!

Crewed # 2008 at Dover in 1966-67.....then went to Mactan 1968-69 with 130's.

Next time get an old cotton sock, cut it in half and attach it over your mic head with rubber bands.

Thanks, scvdon2. I'd nearly forgotten about the Cargomaster. I just recently read an article at the Air & Space Magazine site about the C133, then stumbled upon your video. It was great to see this vintage cargo hauler inflight and then landing beautifully.
Thanks for your service.

Thanks. It would have been better if it had not been so windy. It was great to be there.
