I first heard this album in 1969 and at the time I was 17 yrs. old, married and a senior in high school. I was receiving $100 a mo. allotment from the navy. I was trying to buy it from my neighbor and got up to $75 and she still wouldn'tsell it to me. It's taken me all these years to find it! Just bought it and still love it!
@azzaboi93 I wouldn't say they were "definitely inspired by this". By time this was released, Pink Floyd had already released The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, which pretty much established the surreal, psychadelic sound that they would continue with AHM. Also, when Trip Thru Hell was released, it sold less than 1000 copies. This band was virtually unheard by anyone so, although its great music, its influence was pretty small.

@NecroAnjelis Thought I was the only one. Pink Floyd were definitely inspired by this.

Am I the only person who's getting an "Atom Heart Mother" vibe from this song? :)
