A pure and innocent song from a similar time. It only makes me sad now to hear it and other songs like it because I can feel the evil and corruption of our present time-so dense and all pervasive -reaching back to taint even this sweet and innocent little melody. Not even time is enough of a barrier.

This would be their one-and-only major charted hit of their career in the top forty billboard charts, in fact it climbed to the number three spot in 1961. They just don't make them like that any more. Thank the lord guys like these make their rounds on the oldies revival circuits for us to enjoy and reminisce.
