Plain White Ts - Boomerang - Guitar tutorial (by Second Street Saints)

Got a lot of requests to do a tutorial for my cover of Boomerang and finally got the chance to make one! Hope this helps. I've copied my written tutorial from the original cover below as well. If you want more help just let me know.

CHORDS:

So I've written the chords for each part (and their approximate times) below. The song is in the key of B and nearly every chord is played for four beats each. During the verse, pre-chorus and bridge, you play the chords staccato.

The order of the parts goes as follows:
Verse, Pre-chorus, Chorus, breakdown/piano part, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus 2, Bridge, Chorus 3, breakdown/piano part.

Verses: (0:00 0:25 seconds) (1:07-1:22)

B, C#m

Pre-choruses (0:26-0:36 seconds) (1:23-1:33)

G#m, D#m, G#m, D#m, E, F#

Choruses (0:36-0:59 seconds) (1:34-2:03) (2:19-2:50)

B, F#, G#m, E (repeat three times during the first chorus and four times during the second and third choruses)

Breakdown/Piano part (1:00-1:06 seconds) (2:50-2:57)

Hit the FIRST THREE CHORDS one time each and let them ring for four beats
Hit the LAST THREE CHORDS one time for one beat each

B, C#m, E, B F# B

Bridge (2:04-2:19)

G#m, E, G#m, E, G#m, E, F#, F# (hit the last F# for one beat, then rest for three beats ("you send me spinning")


I hope this helps! The songs is not too hard but does throw in a few little tricks to keep it interesting. Good luck!
