  • i thought what is between someone's ears is more important than what is between their legs.

  • In my experience women just tend not to give a toss about politics. Not all women of cause, but I can easily get a discussion going with my Dad, brother or male friends. Start talking to my Mum sister or female friends and 9/10 their eyes glaze over.

Don't ask me why, that is just my experience.

  • Excellent point. Men have a mentality that tends to permit them to abandon their family, not necessarily by leaving, but by devoting their mind disproportionately to career. Women, on the other hand, are more balanced and view family at least the equal of career. Where a man will work 60-70 hour weeks, routinely, women will generally not because there is nothing of value left for family. We grew up in a small one income family and it was good, mostly because Mom was always there for us. Sigh.
