Cactus Cafe at UT on Guadalupe in Austin Texas

One of the best venues in Austin for serious music-lovers. No talking here during performances. My first time there was 25 years ago, and everyone broke out in applause for someone on stage. I hadn't been exposed to live music enough to understand what it was all about. I learned and developed an appreciation for the excellent musicians. I get emotional thinking about all the beautiful, beautiful memories they gave me. Chris, thanks for your kindness. Jane in MS

I have actually been in this place, tho we decided not to stay and see _____________(husband must fill in the blank) because we had been on the road and were all exhausted, and wanted to shower and sleep more than see whoever it was, altho it was somebody really cool. We were BAD OFF TIRED. But I did see it!
