Alex was a brilliant player in his youth, but a highly flawed human being.

Walked out of the match and quite rightly been thrown out on your ear.

Higgins would have had a case if Williams had genuinely been in his eye line, but of course, Williams saw right through him and his gamesmanship. That's why they always made him or Len Ganley referee Higgins, as he intimidated all other referees.

Like the time Williams said to Quinten Hann, no you're not going to the toilet, you've just been. Not enough players these days are told to shut up and get on with it.

And if your entertainer doesn't feel comfortable then how in the fuck can you expect the crowd to feel comfortable?? I'm entertainer myself, outside Snooker, but still, entertainments, entertainment and if I'm not comfortable and relaxed then I know my audience won't be and that's the point. An entertainer can't preform if they being prevented from doing so- can't have it both ways!

Yeah, he was genuinely in his line of sight actually, that much could tell for the pocket he was going for. And perhaps Quintin Hann has a medical problem where he needs to go more often? Yeah could be the case and well, thrown out, walk out, whichever, because I'd refuse to be staying around where I wasn't being treated right when I'm there to entertain people at the end of the day! If you want to be entertained then you need your entertainer to feel comfortable.

Yeah it's also a referee's job to not get in the line of sight of a player playing the game; so if where he's standing is in his line of sight? Then he should move and personally if I were Alex? I would have walked out of the match altogether to be honest.
