Neil Diamond's entrance on stage in Melbourne, at Rod Laver Arena, March 11, 2011. The opening song being performed is called "Soolaiman". Couldn't record the whole song because off douchebag security guards.

  • Great Video , Thank You for sharing ! My favorite song and a fantastic opening. Maybe You have more and whole songs from this concert ? The quality is fantastic !

  • @Kamulet Sorry, I don't. Not sure if you read the description, but I wasn't able to record anymore footage due to security guards.

  • very good recording for fan cam :)

  • @Haru95Haru Not sure what you mean by this... ?

  • Best Recording quality so far!!!!...What camera did you use?.....Really Interested.

Shame there are so many restrictions at Neil's concerts. I know it has been said before so many times.

They are only to be shared after all with his fans which I believe that Neil has the best in the World! Too many restrictions everywhere....That is why all of my videos came down on this site. :0( Thanks for Uploading ..Excellent.

  • @Jaysnest57 Thanks. Camera used was a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10. Yeah, sucks that its so strict. It says "No cameras/recording" at pretty much all concerts, but usually security guards don't care. I guess it does depend on the performer(s).

  • Post the entire song or forget it

  • @Jaysnest57 Actually, the recording restrictions are for any concert - it has to do with recording rights and all that legal stuff.

  • awesome! one of his many spiritual songs - it touches my soul

  • Yes it does depend upon the performer and Neil is the worst about not letting cameras in. Actually I sat and took tons of pictures of Kris Kristofferson--just thought I had died and gone to heaven. Kris must not care. I can see where the flashes would be annoying, but since the flash light only carries 20 feet, really people should turn their flashes off. Besides, frankly there is always too MUCH light on Neil and it bleaches him out--he doesn't need a flash even if it would light him up.

  • I heard one of the security guys saying Neil is paranoid about cameras. Seems like that might be true seeing how strict they were.

  • @solidsnake25th I'm 24. I meant 'youngest' in that I went without any 'older people'. Ah well, at least I've got this vid for a memory.

  • @solidsnake25th Why the security/Managment so afraid is for that, keep me puzzled. Then Neil is not, like the Cd's, give much on Video. So why let not the Fans make their own and make other people happy !

  • How the heck did you manage even this? I got told off for taking pics before the show and trying to take a camera pic during. Uncool.

Anyway, amazing show, I was there. Perfect seats. I cried during 'Hello'. He looks great. I was maybe the youngest there. Surprised there was no opening act.
