This is a video tribute to Steve Jobs using segments of footage from various notable product unveilings throughout his history at Apple. All the video clips are sourced from previously posted content elsewhere on Youtube.

It is set here to the theme song of "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis stemming from the use of that piece of music during the introduction of the original Macintosh computer.

Background imaging is sourced from a Twitter visualization created by Twitter engineer and Visualization Specialist, Miguel Rios, and the final frame of the altered Apple logo was created by design student, Jonathan Mak.

  • Very touching and well presented! Great job - brought tears to my eyes. I especially love the repurposed Apple logo with Steve's profile!!

  • @terbjennings In reviewing his presentations over the years, and the way he continued to define & clarify the consistency of his vision, I was struck by a sense of coming full circle and felt that using the ending to revisit the first clip as he smiles sheepishly but with great pride in the accomplishments he helped foster. I'm very glad to see that the repurposed logo is getting a lot of play across the net - a subtle but effective hint of genius in the 19-year-old kid who made it. Inspiring.

  • Very slick. The ending is fab!

  • @justice4youandme Thank you. I found the imagery floating around the net to be very inspiring.

  • It's amazing how much one man can change the world, Steve Jobs left the world a better world than the one he was born into..... WHAT A MAN
