Breanna's POV(At the same time as Mick)
"Well now that the kids are gone, you want to go to something?" Joe asked me when Megan and Nick walked out the door to Nick's surprise. She was gonna love it! "What did you have in mind?" I asked. "Well you live on this amazing lake! Why don't we go swimming at the beach or get something to eat closer to town." Joe said with a shrug. "Why don't we get some pizza and go swimming up at the main beach, nobody is ever there after 7." I suggested. "Sure!" Joe said. We went upstairs to our rooms to get changed into our bathing suits. Fifteen minutes later we were in my car driving to Beethoven's this amazing pizza place right in front of the lake. It's a five minute drive so we talked the whole way down. "Wait, what's that?" Joe said pointing at the sign in front of The Cultus Lake Waterslides. "Joe, can't you read? It's the Cultus Lake Waterslides." I joked, "I know that but why don't we go there?" he asked. "Cause they're not very fun when they're closed." I said. "We should bring the others and go tomorrow then!" he suggested. "Sounds good we'll ask when we get back." I said as we pulled into the Beethoven's parking lot. We got out and went over to the restaurant. "Do you want to sit inside or outside?" I asked looking over at Joe, he was starring at the lake. I smiled, "I'll take that as outside. Beautiful view. eh?" I said as I walked him over to one of the picnic tables. "Did you just say 'eh'?" he asked looking at me with a smirk. "I'm Canadian leave me alone!" I said in defence. Joe started laughing. "Hey you don't see me making fun of you Americans for spelling colour like retards!" (A.N. I love you Taylor! He said that today when we saw a comedian making fun of us Canadian's for saying 'eh' lol sorry I don't mean to offend anyone I just had to use it when I heard him say it!) "Ouch, that one kind of hurt." Joe said faking being offended. "Oh, suck it up!" I teased. We both started laughing. "Breanna McKay!" the owner, Nigib, said as he hugged me. My dad and him were best friends from way back, I mean way, way back, like 70's back. "What are you doing home? I thought you were living the celebrity life with your talented little sister in L.A.!" he said after he let me go. "My uncle's getting married in a couple days so we came up for it, plus Megs is shooting on location in Washington starting next week." I replied. Joe looked at me confused at who this 40-something man hugging his girlfriend was. I laughed a little. "Oh who's this?" Nigib asked when he finally noticed Joe. "Nigib, this is Joe Jonas, my boyfriend," I smiled when I realised I could say that, "Joe this is Nigib, he's my dad's best friend." I said sitting back down. "Nice to meet you, young man. You better not hurt our Breanna." Nigib said shaking Joe's hand, I blushed. "It's nice meeting you too, sir, and don't worry, I have no intention of ever doing that." Joe replied politely as he looked over at me and smiled. I couldnt help but smile, he was amazing. "What can I get you kids then?" Nigib asked. "Medium Herculean and a Sprite, what do you want to drink Joe?" I asked. "Diet Coke, please." Joe said politely. "Alright, Sophie will be out with your order in a few minutes." Nigib said as he head back to the kitchen. "It's so beautiful here, you are so lucky you grew up in such a beautiful place." he said grabbing my left hand in his right. "Didn't you like New Jersey? I asked. "I loved it there, but we moved around a lot before we moved there. You know my dad's job." Joe said shrugging his shoulders. Sophie came with our drinks 5 seconds later. "I have a question." he stated. "I'm afraid to ask but what is it?" I said taking a sip of my sprite. "I know your sister is obsessed with Moulin Rouge, but what musical are you obsessed with?" he asked raising his eyebrows jokingly. I laughed. "Across the Universe." I answered. "Really? A Beatles fan and a JB fan, who would have guessed." Joe joked. I smirked, he is such an idiot, but he's my idiot. Our food came and we ate in silence, a comfortable silence. Then we paid the bill and went across the street to the beautiful lake.
