Elysian Shadows Level Editor. This is not a complete prototype.
Basic functionality build 2.
Build 1 did not use OpenGL for map rendering.
Build 2 uses OpenGL for the map viewport through OpenTK ( www.opentk.com ), which is excellent so far.

  • Good job, im looking forawrd to es rev 2. I'm making my own editor in c# aswell, but it renders with GDI+ and its a bit flickery. I have a video of the first build up. Rendering with openGL seems like a good idea to me, yours looks really good.

  • I saw that on the forum. I *thought* it seemed familiar :D

    Yeah, on large maps or with large tilesheets, rendering using GDI+ got slow. Look into OpenTK.

    This version was before the version in ESR1. CodeCriminal in IRC had wanted some sshots, and I was bored.

  • So what, your creating your own version of the level editor for the project?

  • I guess you could call it that. Marcel's not doing the editor anymore, and nobody wants to learn Blitz.

  • Yeah thanks, ill definitely look into it for the second build. I just dont think GDI+ will hold up.
