  • hey Brian, I'm not sure if you're still monitoring your channel, but I got a question.

my friend was hired at this furniture store as a temporary sales rep and he will be switched to stocks as requested.

originally i was going to do the same and apply for the job as sales. that said, the job pays minimum wage and requires you to wear dress pants, dress shirt and leather shoes (apron provided).

my question is: is it worth it? suits don't come cheap, neither does the maintenance.

  • @GundamAngelicDevil - if you are doing it temp/short-term/part-time and just for the money, the answer is that it's probably not worth it. But if the job will give you skills that will make you more valuable for your next job, perhaps it is worth it. You can usually pick up a decent suit at a second hand store for little and just rotate through shirts (again, available second hand) to change it up a bit. If it's a start for you in your career, it may require making an investment in clothes.
