Great tumbling but what an ugly routine a shame the code allows a gymnast like her to win. She is a very weak dance both in expression and dance skills. Wish Myzdrikova had won or even Mitchell.

Beth is a very good tumbler, but her dance... It's a shame because the music is very good and the choreo is not bad, but she makes it look bad.

I love the tumbling and I think Beth is a great gymnast but I didn't like the routine as a whole. I prefer routines with a bit more choreography: Deng Linlin's, for example, had loads of character and was fun to watch.

Well maybe on the floor then, nastia doesn't always get enough height to be able to lock her knees together. But true, that point about injury, nastia can't afford to injure her ankle again (or whatever it was she injured the last time)

See Marie-Sophie Hindermann's bar dismount from the 2007 worlds :D. I think Nastia could do a double front with her knees locked from how high she goes but remember she's injured and could afford a 0.3 deduction as opposed to a career-ending injury.

Why can a tall gymnast such as beth do a double front with her knees locked together and not nastia?

yeah I agree with yaninoosh, she dances awkward, kinda stiff like at 1:44, but she has amazing tumbling
