Song: Killfornia (Ed Kemper)
Artist: Church of Misery
Album: Master of Brutality

(c) 2001 Church of Misery/Southern Lord

Japan's masters of Sabbathian stoner doom Church of Misery have been playing songs about serial killers since 1995 and so far no one has come close to being as good as they are. They have been described by doom-metal.com as "Slow and rather raw sounding traditional doom-metal/semi-sludge with a nice groove much like, for example, St. Vitus. A true raw onslaught of Doomy music that takes no prisoners!" and this is 100% accurate.

This track from Master of Brutality definitely takes no prisoners as it crushes you with absolute doom and brutality. Come inside and worship at the altar within the Church of Misery!

  • I'd recommend the Coffins album Buried Death if anyone wants other heavy music from japan

  • I cannot get over how fucking amazing this song is. The vocalist sounds like the bastard spawn of Matt Pike and Lemmy.
