PBR Wi-Fi Battle 4: The Frozenstone Team!

It's me again, and I have my other Double-Weather team here for you.

This team mixes Sandstorm and Hail, quite tricky to match up, since only one pokemon resists and is benefited by both, Mamoswine. That's why I have a Ditto, once I'm down to just ditto, I can transform into something that resists the current weather pattern, including my own guys.

This time, I face a Falcon Pawnch (Focus Punch)/Follow Me strategy. I didn't see it coming, since most Gengar are Special attackers. (this is the second physical Gengar I've fought today o.O) However, it was nice that it WAS a Gengar, since they have such low Attack without being Banded.

Tyranitar really shines in this match. Since Clefables are almost ALWAYS walls, I was surprised by how much damage he did with just Crunch. And once you set up a second Dragon Dance, (or DD) he gets up to Face-Kicker level. Then he's just destruction.

Why dont you just use clefable instead of ditto. Doesnt get affect by hail/sandstorm because of magic guard so it seems like the better choice.

Yeah, I thought about that, but I have a little policy, I never use the same pokemon twice. You're not gonna see another Tyranitar on any other team of mine. I didn't want to use Clefable because I may need one for Follow Me later on

First time i have seen a shiny mamoswine. the follow me & focus punch combo can be deadly but moves that hit both of the opponents counter this strategy.

Yeah, the opponent was smart to use a levitating pokemon like Gengar to avoid Earthquake

Focus Punch is kind of lame, because it can be stopped without tooo much trouble, and you can do just as much damage over 2 turns with another move

he should have focus punched tyranitar. if he does, you might be in deep trouble.

ok. teach protect(or another move that protect's your team and make sure the pokemon using it has HIGH PP and the other low PP and HIGH attack so. protect then high attack move,other team attacks, your protected so NO your team takes NO damage :3

Wait genger went first and used focus pucnh and clefable used follow and u used your two moves..... Isn't genger suppose to use focus punch next turn?
