Wow! I never heard of Steuart Smith before. He's fantastic!!! He sounds as good as Albert Lee on the studio version! He makes his Strat sound like a Tele!

The expression is Split the Blanket and it means to get a divorce. Just like jumping over the broom stick means to get married.

I love this song, but what the heck does "split blank" mean anyway? I mean,a guy leaves he "splits" but what does the blank mean?
